Cappadocia

Cappadocia is a video installation using four film projectors. It was displayed inside a building projecting to a public space. The video is an aerial view and a slow decent from a hot air balloon in Cappadocia, Turkey. Instead of traveling through the mountains the pilot was hired to fly above the city capturing the rooftops and backyards of the civilians. The video was mirrored and shown from the perspective beneath a Twirling Dervish.
